As you look to transfer or find the next rotation in your company, coffee chats are a way to informally meet with the hiring manager and find out more details.
I’ve had hundreds of them with candidates. And I continue to see the same mistake over and over. If someone starts doing this during our coffee chat, I end it early and let them know it’s not a good fit.
